A Few Friends

Audrey loves hanging out with her friend, Jackson. It doesn't hurt that I love hanging out with Jackson's mom! Here they are at the zoo, pointing at the turtles. The next few pictures are at the zoo's dinosaur exhibit, although I forced the kids to take pictures with me instead of their friends.

It is kind of ridiculous that a licensed cosmetologist has never had a pedicure. My friend Arika told me it was time, and we had a little girls' night. A few other friends were there, too, and it was nice to relax a little bit without the kiddos. Apparently I only had a mini-pedi, so I'm excited to someday go for the whole thing. And, I appreciated that no one said anything about my ugly, cracked feet.

Finally, here are a couple of friends we had for lunch the other day. Check out the books "Salad People" and "Pretend Soup" if you have pre-school or kindergarten-aged kids. Luke and I really enjoy spending time together making the recipes.
