August Party - Part 2

While in Phoenix area for the wedding, we were able to hang out with my grandparents, aunt, uncle, and fabulously accomplished cousins on Sunday.  There were pictures taken, but I'm not sure on whose camera.  Maybe I'll get a hold of them someday.  Anyway, it was awesome to see them, as we don't get to nearly often enough.

On Monday, we were on the road again (or should I say in the air again) on our way to one of our favorite places on earth - Montana!  Becky picked us up at the airport in Missoula and drove us up to their cabin in Kalispell.  Lake Blaine looked just as we had left it a couple of years before, but I think it had missed us.

My pictures are randomly out of order, but you get the idea.

Jeff, Kayla, and cousin Nixon!

Baby Nixon.  It was so awesome to finally meet him!  Hooray for cousin #2!

Max

Everyone in the family was there!  Unfortunately Kristin left before the family picture.

Proof that Luke had a tube wipeout.  Luckily, he laughed and climbed right back on.

Notice that Luke is always on a tube, and he's always in the middle of the big one.  Smart boy.

Me enjoying the "refreshing" water.
Clay getting ready to go.

Uh oh.

We'll just call that a backflip.

And hopefully that wasn't why the wedge broke.  hehe

This kid is hilarious.

Audrey and Luke both loved riding in the front of the boat.

Luke jumped off the dock!  If you know him, that's a huge accomplishment.

We did tons of skiing, wake boarding, tubing, swimming, paddle boating, and general laking, and then we said goodbye to a few siblings and drove north.  We were able to stop at Clayton's Grandma Hall's house, which was really nice.  We haven't seen her in a while.  Then, we drove up to Calgary for a day or two before flying home.  Becky even humored us and took the whole family to ride horses.  We took lots of pictures of the kids with Great-Grandma Hall and having a blast with the horses, but our camera broke and we lost them all.  At least we saved a few of the wedding pictures.

Update: found a couple of extra pictures!

All in all, quite the awesome two weeks.  We were all exhausted by the end (especially Max), but we would do it again in a heartbeat.  We miss everyone like crazy already!

What a fun adventure to Montana! Clayton needs to get out a little more (he almost blinded me...and that's saying a lot considering how white my family is...hehe) :) You guys look like you had a great time!
