December Fun

Here are a few things we busied ourselves with before Christmas:

Aimee and the kids went caroling with a little group from the Grosse Pointe Mom's Club to a nursing home.  It was actually really fun, and the kids really brightened everyone's day.

Our first few real snows of the winter drove us outside to build snowmen.

We can't say that Luke actually made much of this house, as he kept himself busy eating the decorations.

Our good friends, the Hiltons, invited us over to make Christmas cookies.  Luke went crazy with the sprinkles.

In fact, the sprinkles were pretty much all any of the kids wanted anything to do with.

Yum!

The kids also sat on Santa's lap for the first time.  Luke actually enjoyed it, while Audrey screamed, which was quite surprising.  Aimee planned the branch Christmas party, and had fun getting all dolled up for Clayton's work party.  With lots of partying, decorating, Christmas crafts, and caroling, we were definitely feeling the excitement of the season!
