The weather lately has been, I guess, a typical unpredictable spring. One day we've shed our jackets and gone to soak up warm sun at the park, and the next day it's snowing. I'd say this unpredictability is also indicative of my mood. One day I'm happy as can be, the next I'm grumpy and gloomy. Come to think of it, the kids have been acting similarly. One minute Luke is begging to help me put away more laundry or clean silverware and Audrey is dancing and playing; the next minute Audrey is giving herself a bloody nose throwing a tantrum on the floor and Luke has had an accident and is hiding it under piles of clean laundry. But...
Don't they look sweet right before church?
On St. Patrick's Day, I took the kids on an outing to learn about the Coast Guard. I thought it was pretty neat, and they showed us their rescue boats for water rescues and ice rescues.

I couldn't even convince him to climb in the ice rescue boat with the other little boys to try on earphones and stuff. I guess it was an off day for him.

I also had to include this picture of Audrey wearing the teeniest, cutest little pigtails you ever saw.

According to Clay, after being regaled with tales from co-workers about love triangles and such t.v.-like business, our life is pretty bland. It may be bland, but we definitely wouldn't change it.

I can't believe how bug Luke is! Holy cow, I would never recognize him. I wouldn't change our bland life either. Not that chaos is bland...!
