For the second half of Clay's week off, we were blessed to have his parents come all the way from Calgary to visit. We don't get to see them very often, and we were all really excited. Of course, we had to have a lot of pizza.
We were lucky to get really great, warm weather while they were here, so we spent a lot of time playing outside and at parks. Sports are always at the top of Luke's to-do list, and Audrey's favorite thing is always to swing.
On Saturday, our happy moods were sobered by the news that Clay's uncle had been killed in a car accident. It made it even harder to say goodbye the next day, knowing that we don't get to spend nearly enough time with our families. We might possibly have bored them to death, but we were so glad to have Bryce and Becky come visit. We had such a great time seeing them, and we are missing them a lot already!
